Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti
India is the holy land of non-violence, peace and spirituality. Several world leaders have conceptualized the future of India as the messenger of non-violence. Ahimsa vishwa Bharati is an endeavour to make this universal message an integral part of our life style. To build a society and nation bereft of violence, terrorism, exploitation, poverty, caste distinctions or communalism and to improve humanity, Munishree Lokesh brought in a spiritual revolution through the establishment of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati on 28 October, 2005.
The leader of this pioneering revolution Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji has vowed that in order to reveal the strength of dharma, it should be integrated to spirituality, social service and made into a vehicle for eradicating social evils. In order to redeem this pledge along with the foundation of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati he is working to execute a programme focused on three aspects.
First he is leading a campaign against female foeticide, drug addiction and environmental pollution from Gujarat to Punjab through an ‘All Communities Public Consciousness Awareness Campaign’ on behalf of Jain dharma to Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat and other states for the establishment of branches of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati to wipe out social discriminations.
Second, for education, health and medicine, means of livelihood for the disprivileged and for enhancing spiritual experience in their lives two large ashrams have been constructed in Udaipur and Jodhpur. The application of social service and spiritual practice from these places will be beneficial for entire humanity. The organization has decided to expedite the construction of ‘Achrya Dr. Lokesh Ashram’ in Udaipur and Jodhpur on the occasion of the 50th birth anniversary year (2010-2011) of Gurudev.
