New Delhi, December 18, 2024: World Peace Ambassador and renowned Jain Acharya Dr. Lokeshji was honored with the Bharat Gaurav Award in a special ceremony organized at the Imperial Hotel in New Delhi. Acharya Lokeshji was honored with this honor for his remarkable contribution in the upliftment of moral, character, and human values and the promotion and preservation of world peace and goodwill. This award was given to Acharya Lokeshji by the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami ji. The honor ceremony was organized by Bharat Gaurav Award Foundation. Renowned Jain Acharya Lokeshji, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and Vishwa Shanti Kendra, while expressing gratitude for the honor, said that this honor is not only my honor, it is the honor of the entire ancient Indian culture, it is the honor of Lord Mahavira and the ideas told by him, it is the honor of the spirit of India’s Vasudhaiva Kutumbam message.

The chief guest of the ceremony, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that our country is the provider of sages and agriculture, in this country, great men have always guided, saints have made a special contribution in the construction of society and nation. I am happy that in today’s ceremony, distinguished saints and great men who serve the country and society have been honored, this also inspires other people, he appreciated the efforts of the organizer of the program Bharat Gaurav Award Foundation and General Secretary Sandesh Yadav.

World Peace Ambassador Acharya Lokesh ji on the occasion said that the whole world is currently faced with the problem of war and violence, many countries like Ukraine, Israel are facing war, children are becoming destitute, and women are suffering. War is not the solution to any problem, every problem can be solved through dialogue. America is also facing gun violence. Peace education and dialogue based on non-violence put an end to war and violence, this is the need of present times. I have discussed with many National Heads that the time has come when we should give training in peace. All religions talk about unity, religion brings us together, there is no place for hatred, violence and aversion on the path of religion. Science, spirituality and philosophy are all working to discover the truth and human welfare.

Professor Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad said that the coordination of science and religion/spirituality will show humanity the path to peace and harmony. It is a matter of great honor that many international thinkers, religious leaders, scientists and experts from different fields are discussing an important topic on this platform. Efforts for world peace and harmony are coming alive through the 10th World Parliament of Religions.

On this occasion, leaders of different religions like Islam, Christianity, Sikh, Hindu, Jain, Bahai, Jew, Brahmakumari, Acharya Abhaydas Ji Maharaj, Bhante Rahul Boudhi, Dr. Gautam Bapat, Dr. R.M. New Delhi, 2 October 2024: Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and World Peace Center Acharya Lokesh Ji addressing the Gandhi Jayanti organized by Gandhi Mandela Foundation on the occasion of World Non-Violence Day said that at present war is going on in different parts of the world and people are terrorized by violence. The solution to war and violence is possible only by adopting the path of non-violence. On this occasion Major General B.K. World Peace Ambassador Acharya Lokesh, while addressing the program of Mahatma Gandhi’s 155th birth anniversary, said that he has given the message of non-violence and peace from many forums in the world. India’s message of non-violence and peace is needed by the world public; being an Indian, it becomes our duty to adopt the path of non-violence and spread it in the world.

Gandhian Dr. Savita Singh said that through the United Nations, many countries of the world accepted the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi as World Non-Violence Day. This is a matter of pride for India.

Ludhiana/ New Delhi, 1 October 2024: Punjab Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Jain Acharya Dr. Lokeshji, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and World Peace Center addressed the International Senior Citizens Day event of Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust established by Shri Anil Monga. Many eminent people were present in the program organised at Heavenly Palace auditorium.

Punjab Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria said that senior citizens are like gods, it is the duty of every citizen to respect and protect them. He said that Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust is doing praiseworthy social services with the aim of providing better life to senior citizens, orphan children and women. The Governor said that there is no religion greater than human service. The Government of India through various departments is providing many facilities and services to senior citizens.

On this occasion, the Honorable Governor unveiled the poster of the World Peace Center established by Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti under the guidance of Acharya Lokesh Ji.

World Peace ambassador Acharya Lokesh said that senior citizens are our heritage, they are the guardians of ancient culture. It is very important to take care of them.  It is everyone’s duty to take care of their parents and elders, but in the present fast-paced lifestyle, the young generation is forgetting this duty. Anil Monga ji is fulfilling this duty wholeheartedly even while living in America, through Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust, he has given the happiness and comfort of home to 100 orphan children and 400 senior citizens on the land of Punjab, lots of appreciations to him for this.

Founder and Chairman of Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust, Mr. Anil Monga said that we have been engaged in the service of humanity for the last 25 years. 10 अगस्त 2024, नई दिल्ली : अहिंसा विश्व भारती एवं विश्व शांति केंद्र के संस्थापक आचार्य डॉ लोकेश ने द जैन फ़ाउंडेशन द्वारा आयोजित ‘जैन धर्म का भविष्य’ वर्चुअल संगोष्ठी को संबोधित करते हुये कहा कि वर्तमान वैश्विक समस्याओं के समाधान में जैन धर्म और भगवान महावीर दर्शन अधिक प्रासंगिक है | अहिंसा, अनेकांत, संयम, जैसी शिक्षाओं पर आधारित जैन धर्म से हिंसा, युद्ध, पर्यावरण असंतुलन, ग्लोबल वार्मिंग, असमानता, गरीबी, मानसिक व शारीरिक तनाव जैसी वैश्विक समस्याओं का समाधान संभव  है | उन्होने कहा कि जैन धर्म की शिक्षा आधारित जीवन शैली अपनाकर विश्व जनमानस स्वस्थ सुखी और आनंदमय जीवन जी सकता है | इसके लिए आवश्यक है कि समुचित जैन समाज एकजुट होकर जैन धर्म की शिक्षाओं को जन जन तक लेकर जाए |

विश्व शांतिदूत आचार्य लोकेश ने जैन धर्म की प्रासंगिकता पर कहा कि यह जैन जीवन शैली  बेहद वैज्ञानिक है और मानवीय मूल्यों पर आधारित है | भगवान महावीर ने अनेक प्रयोग अपने शरीर पर ही कर डाले और जैन धर्म की मान्यताओं को वैज्ञानिक रूप से स्थापित किया | जैन शिक्षाओं के माध्यम से व्यक्ति, समाज और पर्यावरण मे संतुलन बना कर एक बेहतर विश्व का निर्माण संभव  है | विश्व शांति और सद्भावना की स्थापना के लिए जैन जीवन शैली को अपनाना होगा |

आचार्य लोकेश ने जैन धर्म कि वर्तमान स्थिति पर कहा कि राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर जैन विभिन्न परम्पराओं  मे बंटे जैन अनुयायियों को एकजुट होना होगा ताकि उनकी आवाज राष्ट्रीय मंच पर सुनी जा सके | उन्होने कहा कि अमेरिका में 70 जैन सेंटर एकसाथ जैन धर्म की प्रभावना के लिए कार्यरत है, इसीलिए उनकी आवाज व्हाइट हाउस व संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ में भी सुनी जाती है | वर्तमान मे जैन अनुयाई संगठित होकर न सिर्फ जैन धर्म का अपितु विश्व का भी कल्याण कर सकते है |

            नई दिल्ली, 24 जुलाई 2024: अहिंसा विश्व भारती और विश्व शांति केंद्र के संस्थापक जैन आचार्य डॉ. लोकेश जी ने शिकागो ओपन यूनिवर्सिटी के दीक्षांत समारोह को मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में संबोधित किया। इंडिया इंटरनेशनल सेंटर में आयोजित भव्य समारोह  में आचार्यश्री ने समाज के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों की प्रतिष्ठित हस्तियों को डॉक्टरेट की उपाधि प्रदान की और उसके बाद मीडिया को संबोधित किया। समारोह में आचार्यश्री का शॉल एवं स्मृति चिन्ह देकर अभिनंदन किया गया।

            परम पूज्य आचार्य लोकेश जी ने डॉक्टरेट की उपाधि प्राप्त करने पर  बधाई देते हुए कहा कि शिक्षा एक ऐसा माध्यम है जो व्यक्तिगत प्रगति में मदद करता है और साथ ही समाज की प्रगति और कल्याण में भी मददगार साबित होता है। उच्च शिक्षा व्यक्तिगत और सामूहिक कल्याण दोनों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है, एक डिग्री प्राप्त कर व्यक्ति बेहतर नौकरी के अवसर, उच्च कमाई और यहां तक की बेहतर स्वास्थ्य के लिए प्रयासरत रहता है। उच्च शिक्षा लोकतंत्र और सतत विकास को भी बढ़ावा देती है और अपराध को कम करने में योगदान देती है। शिकागो ओपन यूनिवर्सिटी जैसे संस्थान विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के लोगों को डॉक्टरेट की डिग्री प्रदान करके महान मानव कल्याण का कार्य कर रहे हैं।

            विश्व शांति दूत  आचार्य लोकेश ने स्कूल और विश्वविद्यालय में शांति शिक्षा को समाहित करने की आवश्यकता पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि शांति शिक्षा पाठ्यक्रम का हिस्सा होना चाहिए। अच्छे डॉक्टर, इंजीनियर, वकील, वैज्ञानिक, शिक्षाविद् बनाने के साथ-साथ यह बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है कि हमारी शिक्षा प्रणाली अच्छे व्यक्तित्व का निर्माण करे। ‘शांति शिक्षा’ जो प्राचीन योग और वर्तमान वैज्ञानिक अनुसंधान का एक संयोजन है विभिन्न स्कूलों और विश्वविद्यालयों में पाठ्यक्रम के रूप में शैल हो सकती है । शांति शिक्षा मानव में पाशविक प्रवृत्ति को समाप्त कर मानवीय एवं आध्यात्मिक मूल्यों को जागृत करने का कार्य करता है।

देहरादून /नई दिल्ली, 9 जुलाई 2024 : भगवान महावीर के 2550 निर्वाण वर्ष एवं अहिंसा विश्व भारती संस्था के स्थापना दिवस पर उत्तराखंड राज भवन में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी ‘भारतीय संस्कृति एवं महावीर दर्शन में वैश्विक समस्याओं का समाधान’ | संगोष्ठी में उत्तराखंड के राज्यपाल माननीय लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह जी, अहिंसा विश्व भारती एवं विश्व शांति केंद्र के संस्थापक जैन आचार्य लोकेश जी, पतंजलि योगपीठ के सह संस्थापक पूज्य आचार्य बाल कृष्ण जी, बुद्धिस्ट कल्चरल फ़ाउंडेशन के चेयरमैन दीपांकर सुमेधों जी, अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति के सलाहकार अजय भूतोरिया जी, अमेरिका में भारतीय समुदाय के नेता राश्मिकान्त कामदार जी, वीर चक्र विजेता कर्नल टी. पी. त्यागी जी सहित विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के दिग्गज उपस्थित रहे |

विश्व शांतिदूत जैन आचार्य लोकेश जी ने कहा कि भगवान महावीर ने आज से हजारों वर्ष पूर्व भगवान महावीर ने षट्जीविकाय का सिद्धान्त दिया जो जलवायु परिवर्तन और पर्यावरण ह्रास की समस्याओं का समाधान कर सकता है, पीस एजुकेशन जैसे कार्यक्रमों से हिंसा के मूल कारण को खत्म किया जा सकता है | उन्होने कहा कि भारत का पहला विश्व शांति केंद्र भगवान महावीर के सिद्धांतों पर आधारित होगा | आचार्य बाल कृष्ण जी ने कहा कि भारतीय संस्कृति में ‘वासुधैव कुटुंबकम’ एवं ‘सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिन: सर्वे संतु: निरामया’ का संदेश पूरी दुनिया को दिया | किसी के लिए कोई देश एक बाज़ार हो सकता है पर भारत के लिए विश्व एक परिवार है | जो संदेश भारत भूमि के महापुरुषों ने दिया आज उस संदेश की पूरी दुनिया को आवश्यकता है क्योंकि युद्ध, हिंसा या कलह के रास्ते से हम शांत और सुखी जीवन नहीं जी सकते है| बौद्ध भिक्षु दीपांकर सुमेधों जी ने कहा कि अहिंसा, दया, करुणा, मानवता, के मूल्यों को अपनाने की, उनको अपने जीवन में उतारने की और क्रियान्वित करने की आवश्यकता है | महावीर कि शिक्षाओं से ही विश्व में शांति सद्भावना संभव है | अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति के सलाहकार श्री अजय भूतोरिया ने कहा कि अहिंसा विश्व भारती द्वारा स्थापित भारत का प्रथम विश्व शांति केंद्र का उदघाटन इस वर्ष हो जाएगा | विश्व शांति केंद्र में भारतीय संस्कृति और आधुनिक सुविधाओं का संगम होगा वहाँ से शांति शिक्षा एवं प्रशिक्षण, ध्यान एवं योग के माध्यम से व्यक्तित्व निर्माण, महिला सशक्तिकरण, बच्चों व युवाओं का संस्कार निर्माण, पर्यावरण संरक्षण आदि भारतीय संस्कृति एवं जैन जीवन शैली पर आधारित कार्यक्रम संचालित किए जाएंगे |

Indian Jain leader Lokesh Muni to establish world peace centre in US

Washington: A prominent Jain spiritual leader has announced the establishment of the World Peace Center in New Jersey, aimed at promoting global peace through various means, including the training of peace ambassadors. “The establishment of the World Peace Center in New Jersey is a significant step towards creating a platform where global conflicts can be addressed. Whether it’s the ongoing war in Ukraine or the Israel-Palestine conflict, the aim is to bring disputing parties to the negotiation table before violence escalates,” India‘s Acharya Lokesh Muni told PTI in an interview.

The site for the World Peace Center has been identified in New Jersey. This will be the second such centre established by Acharya Muni, with the first set to be inaugurated in New Delhi later this fall.

The primary goal of the World Peace Center is to serve as a hub for mediating and resolving international disputes, fostering a culture of peace and non-violence, according to Muni.

This initiative is part of a broader ‘Peace and Harmony tour’ aimed at addressing and resolving conflicts worldwide.

Conflicts have spread across the world from the Middle East to Ukraine, affecting the global economy and causing suffering to children and women, the eminent Jain leader said.

“The question arises, why not bring them to the negotiation table before the war even begins?” he said.

Explaining further about the World Peace Center, Lokesh Muni said, “Governments and police administrations will do their work, but this centre will train and raise peace ambassadors worldwide. Their role will be to actively involve in conflict resolution whenever and wherever they arise,” he said.

The foundation for the World Peace Center in New Jersey is set to be laid soon, with a ceremony planned after completing the necessary formalities, he said adding that this centre would be the first-of-its-kind outside India and marks a significant step towards global collaboration for peace and harmony.

The centre aims to connect people worldwide, leveraging India’s heritage of meditation, yoga, and Ayurveda to promote well-being and unity.

“The goal is to make the world a beautiful place, addressing issues like global warming, terrorism, poverty, and hunger. This centre will serve humanity worldwide, fulfilling educational, health, and livelihood needs,” Muni said.

Responding to a question, he said the choice of America for this centre highlights the country’s democratic values and its potential to collaborate with India to solve global problems. As both nations work together, they can address significant challenges facing the world today, he observed.

The Jain leader emphasised that the centre in New Jersey will be a beacon of hope, promoting peace, nonviolence, and positive change globally. It represents a step towards a more harmonious and peaceful world, ensuring a better future for generations to come.

Muni is the founder of the Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati organisation, which works for peace and emphasises on non-violence.

He was presented with the US President’s Gold Volunteer Service award in April in recognition of his contribution to the public good and humanity.

Acharya Lokesh Muni, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and World Peace Centre was honoured in the California State Assembly and State Senate for his significant efforts in spreading the thoughts of non-violence, peace, harmony, and universal brotherhood in the world.

Expressing his gratitude Dr Lokesh said, “It is the honour of Indian culture, philosophy and spiritual values of Lord Mahavir, not mine. I have been working for human values in the past as well, and will continue to do so in the future.”

Dr Lokesh further said that the evaluation of humanitarian works by the State Assembly and Senate of America has increased the enthusiasm of millions of workers and well-wishers associated with Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and the World Peace Centre. Addressing the workers, Acharya said that the responsibility to do more work has increased.

Member of California State Assembly Alex Lee and member of State Senate Dave Cortese highlighted the humanitarian work done by Acharya Lokesh around the world and that he was honoured with respect in the assembly and Senate.

US President Biden’s advisor Ajay Bhutoria stated that Acharya Lokeshji’s honour amidst the ongoing proceedings of both houses is a very proud moment for the glorious country of India and the spiritual world.

Sukhraj Nahar, chairman and Abhay Kumar Shrishrimal, president of JITO Apex, the most effective organization of Jain society; Vinod Dugad, Chairman of JITO ATF mentioned that Acharya Lokesh always made the Jain community proud through his personality, creativity and works.

As part of the recognition, Acharya Lokesh received the Presidential Award, Golden Shield, Certificate of Honor, and a citation bearing President Biden’s signature. US Congressman Brad Sherman read the certificate and citation, as per Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati’s statement.

US President Joe Biden, in his signed citation, praised Acharya Lokesh’s humanitarian work, stating, “I congratulate you for your contribution to the public good and congratulate you for your service to this great nation and humanity.” Biden highlighted Acharya Lokesh’s global peace efforts, noting, “By sharing your time and passion, you are helping to find solutions to the challenges we face. Solutions we need more than ever. We live in a moment that needs hope, light, and love. You are providing all three through your service.”

Biden expressed confidence that Acharya Lokesh will continue to serve humanity and commended him for his volunteer leadership on behalf of the American people.

In his acceptance speech, Acharya Lokesh expressed pride in receiving the American Presidential Award but acknowledged the increased responsibility it entails. He stated that the award honors Indian culture, spiritual values, and Jain principles of Lord Mahavir.

Acharya Lokesh emphasized his dedication to the welfare of mankind over the past 40 years, rooted in these values, and pledged to live up to expectations in the future.

He thanked Biden and expressed hope for continued collaboration between India and the US for the betterment of humanity.

Honorable Shri Ram Nath Kovind, President of India, in his first address on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, said that parallel growth of all sections of society is necessary for country’s balanced development. President was addressing the seminar ‘Spirituality for Human and Social Development’ organized by Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti in the prestigious presence of Acharya Dr. Lokesh, at Dr. Ambedkar International Center, Janpath. Union Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment Dr. Thawarchand Gehlot was also present on the occasion. Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti journal ‘Aahwaan’ latest consolidated edition was released on the occasion. President addressing the large gathering of distinguished people from India and abroad, present in the auditorium said that on the path of spirituality all human beings are equal. Mahatma Gandhi also talked about the development of all classes and sections of society. The President was honored by Mr. Abhay Kumar Jain and Mr. Ganpat Chaudhary with shawl, Dr. Ajit Gupta and Mr. Karamjit Dhaliwal presented the memento to him. Many distinguished people and different parts of the country and from abroad attended the seminar. The stage was conducted by Sajan Shah and Tarakeswari Mishra. The program was began and concluded with the national anthem was sung by GD Goenka Public School students. Children of Hiralal Jain Senior Secondary School presented the Anuvrat song.

Acharya Lokesh was honoured with JAINA Presidential awarded for the significant contribution to spread the teachings of Jainism on the global level and to give a special status to Jainism among different religions. Acharya Lokesh was honoured during JAINA Convention 2019 in the presence of thousands of Devotees held in Los Angeles, USA, Jaina’s President Shri Gunavant Shah honouring Acharya Lokesh said that HH Acharya Lokesh has devoted his life for the spreading Jainism across the Globe. Acharya Lokesh said that this award is not an honor to me but an honor of Indian culture and Lord Mahavira philosophy. He said that Jain philosophy is very scientific and relevant. Jain philosophy is possible to address global problems like violence, terror, poverty and environmental pollution. He has appealed the youth to learn the learning and transform their life too. On this occasion Acharya Chandanaji, Gurudev Rakeshbhai Zaveri and Gurudev Chitrabhanuji was awarded for their remarkable contribution.

Organised by the World Vegan Vision, the 7th International Conference on Science and Scientist took place at Rutgers University, USA with renowned professors like Michael Reiss, John J. Kineman, Gary L. Francione and many more prominent professors which was addressed by Acharya Dr. Lokesh, Founder of Ahimsa Vishva Bharti. This conference bought scientists and philosophers together, and aim to promote new collaborations and research avenues with potential relevance towards development of scientific understanding of life and its origin based on this ideology, many innocent animals are treated cruelly on a daily basis for the purpose of , entertainment, research, food and profit. The concept of this conference was to ‘Understand the Source and Nature of Consciousness and Life’.
